If you're looking to lighten or highlight your hair without using harsh chemicals, or breaking the bank, lemon juice is an excellent alternative. All you need is a sunny day and a few drops of lemon.
First you will want to decide how you want to highlight your hair, if you want to highlight all your hair you will need to start with two or three big hair think the highlight, a small number of lemons, you will need.
Once you have your lemons are ready you will want them to cut it in half and squeeze them into a container of some sort. I prefer to tuck them into a bowl, then transfer the juice into a spray bottle.
If you want to highlight all your hair and then evenly spray or pour the juice in your hair. It is important to make sure the lemon juice is thoroughly mixed and evenly through your hair.
To highlight all your hair, but I just want to point out a few strands has a different technique. I personally think it's easiest to use a large brimmed hat with holes in it (or create holes especially for this). Pull each strand of hair that you want to highlight through the hole and let it hang out. Once you have all you want to highlight or pulled through it is time to apply the lemon juice for each leisure activity. I think that if you pull through with little or incidental contact, and make some thicker than others, which gives a more natural look.
After the selected parts of your hair is fully saturated in lemon juice all you need to do is go to relax and enjoy a beautiful day in the sun. If you choose the method of the hat and make sure it still wears his hat during his time in the sun to prevent the juice from the lemons of getting the rest of your hair.
At the end of the day in the sun all you need to do is take a shower or bath and use any shampoo or conditioner of your choice to remove excess juice which lemon juice applied but should be easier. If your hair is not enough light can get back out into the sun, or repeat the other day
If you are able to go out into the sun, you can optionally you can do this technique in a tanning booth, but I strongly advise against using tanning beds as a whole, but it is an option.
I hope some of you find this technique is the perfect solution for you and invite you to leave some feedback on your results!
